~ VooDoo's Graphics ~Namasté. Sometimes I'm either angry or shy to people I don't know if they approach me the wrong way. However, once you get past that, I'm not so bad. I have a good sense of humor, and I really enjoy making my friends laugh. Sometimes the lengths I go to for that can be rather outrageous, but nothing illegal. I take friendships very seriously, and will try to help my friends as best I can when they need it. However, to keep things in balance, I also take betrayal and my enemies very seriously. And it's not the prettiest picture. I also have a very creative side. I enjoy writing and photography. I'm working on two stories right now: one fantasy and one science-fiction. My photography generally revolves around my hobby of costuming. I also have a website that displays my works, but I only give my friends that address (so anyone who's interested in being a friend can see it). It's in its infancy right now, but it's getting there. I'm also trying to get out into the world and start a career. As far as my education goes, I did graduate high school. It's just that I was homeschooled the last two years, and this site doesn't seem to have that as an option to put down on my profile.Just to let everybody know, I take friendships seriously. If you want to be friends that's fine, but I'm not interested in being just another number on your friends list. So if that's the case, don't bother. Also, it helps if you send me a message along with the Friends Request to just let me know who you are and show you actually do want to be friends. One other thing: anyone who sends me an invite to an adult rated profile or webcam site will be immediately reported by me! I have neither the interest nor the tolerance for crap like that!

An accomplished diplomat who can virtually do no wrong, you sometimes know it is best to rely on the council of others while holding the reins.
There are some words which I have known since I was a schoolboy. "With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censored, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably." These words were uttered by Judge Aaron Satie -- as a wisdom, and warning. The first time any man's freedom is trodden on, we're all damaged.

You are The Magician

Skill, wisdom, adaptation. Craft, cunning, depending on dignity.

Eleoquent and charismatic both verbally and in writing, you are clever, witty, inventive and persuasive.

The Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. In that ancient sense, it is the ability to make things so just by speaking them aloud. Reflecting this is the fact that the Magician is represented by Mercury. He represents the gift of tongues, a smooth talker, a salesman. Also clever with the slight of hand and a medicine man - either a real doctor or someone trying to sell you snake oil.

My Interests

I enjoy reading, writing, watching TV, going to movies, horseback riding, playing computer games, and surfing the Internet. As far as sports go, I like paintball, skiing, and snowboarding. I also like learning quotes. One hobby that I have been interested in for some time is costuming. I have only recently been able to start because I finally aquired the finances to do it. So far the two costumes that I've made are Capt. Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and a Sith Lord from Star Wars. If anyone is interested in seeing pictures, feel free to e-mail me. So far I only do this for Halloween, but I'd like to be able to do it at conventions in the future. And to anyone who says that this is silly or stupid, I have only this to say, "Is it stupid when a sports fan dresses up to be the teams mascot or fans wear little costume parts for the same reason?" Anyway, the costumes I'm planning on making in the future are the Dread Pirate Roberts from The Princess Bride, Zorro, the Emperor from Star Wars or a Jedi from Star Wars. All in all, I'd say my two biggest interests right now are costuming and writing my novel (see Books).

I'd like to meet:

See heroes. Also, in no particular order: Catherine Zeta-Jones, Kate Beckinsale, Milla Jovivich, Sandra Bullock, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Patrick Stewart, Weird Al Yankovic, Tom Lehrer, Jackie Chan, and Kelly Hu. Oh, and if I could go back in time I'd like to meet Joan of Arc. Since I was born on the same day she was murdered I like to joke that I am her reincarnated spirit.

Who I've met: George Takei, James Cawley, Jeff Quinn, John Lim, Andy Bray, Julienne Irons, Michael Winslow, Wayne Pygram, Virginia Hey, David Franklin, Brian Downey, Xenia Seeberg, Lou Ferrigno, Kenan Thompson, Margot Kidder, and Billy West.

Music:

Generally speaking, I love anything rock. I lean more towards the heavier types: industrial, metal, etc. However, I do enjoy some older or softer kinds. My favorite band is Godsmack. Lacuna Coil runs a close second. Some other bands that I like are (in no particular order): Evanescence, Lost Prophets, Nickelback, Papa Roach, Saliva, P.O.D., Green Day, Rob Zombie, Drowning Pool, Marilyn Manson, 3 Doors Down, Breaking Benjamin, Dave Matthews, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Pink, Rage Against the Machine, Rammstein, Seether, Smash Mouth, George Thorogood, and Crazy Town. The list goes on. I also enjoy classical music like the works of Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and Beethoven. I'm learning to play the Celtic Ocarina songstone, and I really want to learn to play the violin like one of my heroes. In addition to that, comical music has a place in my collection. I listen to "Weird Al" Yankovic, Tom Lehrer, and Spike Jones. Stan Freeburg is ok, but not someone who I'd listen to on a regular basis.

Movies:

The first movie I worked on!!! (See trailor below) Aurora Trailer

My favorite media genres are sci-fi, horror, fantasy, and comedy. Some of my most treasured titles are: Interview with the Vampire, The Matrix, Star Trek, Star Wars, and last but not least Stargate. Yes, I do have a geek side. I also like suspense thrillers and action movies if they aren't too cheesy. Good ones in my opinion would include: The Last Samurai, Troy, Gladiator, Cube, James Bond, Indiana Jones, the Dune saga, Pirates of the Caribbean, and most comic based movies (sorry but The Hulk and Hellboy just don't cut it). As far as comedies go: anything Mel Brooks, the Scary Movies, Arsenic and Old Lace, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and more.

Television:

This one is pretty much the same as movies. However, I don't watch as much TV as I did in the past. I do enjoy such shows as: Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Heroes, Smallville, Dr. Who, Eureka, Painkiller Jane, Battlestar Galactica, Family Guy, Futurama, The Invisible Man, Farscape, Macgyver, The Three Stooges, Abbott and Costello, and many others.

Books:

Books are pretty much the same as movies and TV. Some of my favorites are: The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, as well as numerous Star Trek and Star Wars books. Also, since mythology is a hobby of mine, I enjoy reading books on ancient civilizations and their beliefs. My favorite culture to read about is that of ancient Greece. This ties in with my writing as I am currently working on a fantasy novel about one of the ancient Greek gods, Hypnos, surviving to current day and trying to help our world. After I really got into it, it began to sound more like a comic book so once the story is finished I might turn it into a graphic novel. I'm currently looking for an artist to draw the characters for me. So if you're an artist please e-mail me, and maybe we can work out a deal. Another friend, Mike, used to work for Stan Lee at Marvel comics so he's going to help me get it published. Oh, and how could I forget Ed? I definitely enjoy Edgar Allen Poe's works.

Heroes:

First and foremost, Lestat de Lioncourt. I know he's just a character in a story, but he's my hero. I'd love to be like him, having the power to throw caution to the wind and try new things. I'd also be immortal so I could survive through the ages, and I'd have plenty of time to experience everything I want to try. He also has the strength to do something about all the whores, con artists, murderers, etc. that take advantage of the innocent, and make them pay with their lives ensuring they never abuse anyone else. He also plays the violin; one of my favorite instruments.
Christopher Reeve is definitely another one of my heroes, and not just on the big screen. I am amazed at all that he has done during his life, not to mention the contributions that are still being made to science and society because of him.
The other man I'd have to say has earned the title of hero is Richard Dean Anderson. He's a great actor, and a great person. He's also earned himself the rank of General in the U.S. Air Force without actually being in the military.
Also, anyone in the U.S.A.F. because I want to do it, but I can't for medical reasons.
