New York City, born to the loving parents of a talented musician and of a well known hair stylist among the industry, brother of an artist and of a dj. In the hot summer year of 1986 when the underground scene was young, house music was introduced to Ray by his immediate family members (DJ Stop & Bobby 129 aka Styx One).In just a few months he developed a fascination of playing the best of house & techno and by the age of 20 years he had already played at several events. Over the past 15 years Ray has played at many nightclubs, afterhour parties, warehouse and outdoor events with several DJ's in and around NYC & South Florida. Some include: Club Quick, known to become Vinyl & Arc, Club Caos, The Bank, Club USA, Warsaw, Cafe Society, Shadow Lounge, Ultra Music Festivals, Club Bash, Club Red, La Mirage in The Bronx, to name a few.Ray Junior's passion for music comes across in his quality choice of tracks, selecting only the hottest and baddest booty shakin' tunes which summon every lively body to the dancefloor. Renowned for his massive fusion of percussive-tribal-tech house, Ray has thrilled crowds of thousands with his flawless genre bending sets. At the same time he has proven versatile and innovative, developing his own deep-twisted-techy more organic house set for smaller and more intimate settings. In 1997 he moved to Miami, but returned in 2003 realizing his roots were in NYC. Now after mastering the art of mixing for over 15 years, he's currently remixing and producing original music.
