The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it

About Me

I am totally stuck in the 80s even though I was only a kid at the time. I am a music obsessive and specialize in forgotten bands of the 80s, and love everything New Romantic. Also heavily into Punk, New Wave, Post-Punk, Classic Rock, Psychedelia and a pretty diverse mixture overall....I am an aspiring singer/songwriter/musician and practice music frequently on the guitar and synthesizer, currently writing lots of songs and looking to get a band together in the near future. I am often found socializing and getting pissed in various places around Manchester. I like to travel whenever I get the chance and particularly love London. My main purpose in life is to live for pure pleasure, wear as much glitter as possible, do my bit to keep alive the New Romantic vibe, the essence of Punk and the spirit of Rock 'n' Roll...

My Interests

Music (New Romantic, Punk, Post-Punk, New Wave, Electro), Megalithic monuments, London, Manchester, Amsterdam, glitter, dressing as if my life depends on it, dancing, living spontaneously, psychology, underground movies, surrealism, psychoanalysis, insanity, altered states of consciousness, subculture

I'd like to meet:

I no longer accept friend requests from people or bands whom I do not know personally (unless they're a famous band I'm already into), so don't be offended if you send me a request and I don't friend you back. However, I am currently looking for band members to help flesh out my music with a view to performing live- influences aren't particularly important as long as you have a true passion and love for music, just bring along your own style and we'll see how we combine. So if you're a musician and would like to join me for a jam some time, feel free to message me.

"Don't Ask Me" by P.I.L.

The best Rock/Cheesy Pop song ever...? Verdict: Guilty. Now I dare Jah Wobble to encore with this song next time he plays live.
