PULSE

Pulse has been on hiatus for a almost a year, after their last showcase in March 2006, at The Esplanade outdoor theatre, for the Mosaic Music Festival,Singapore.Apparently, the band has stopped performing - as per say. However, the band's drummer and vocalist, Syed, & Sofia has been actively gigging around. Syed has been playing with Westgrand Boulevard and Sofia, recently making a comeback into the scene, sessioning and performing in mid 2007. More recently, with Ocean Avenue.Pulse is made up of 5 quirky, spunk,vibrant and energetic young lads hailed from Republic polytechnic. The get up was initiated in august 2004, Only a month old, the band decided to take on power jam 2004, competition against bands with years of experience behind their wings.Fortunately enough for pulse they managed to get into the semi-finals of the competition with their first ever single "angel". That sparked light in the band and they went on writing more originals and gigging profusely.To date the band is only 2 year old, and they have done over 70 performancesand behind them lies a set list of 14 originals and cover songs from great artists like, maroon 5, Ashlee Simpson, Led Zeppelin, System Of A Down and many many more. The highlights of the band include performing @ the Istana for the presidents challenge launch, the Grrrlll power event and performing on the National Day event at the Esplanade.
