That's what she said.

About Me

Welcome to my humble abode on My Space.

Be sure to visit my main blog at blondeheroine.com

I am a professional freelance writer. Stay tuned for some more creative endeavors I'll be sharing with you soon.

Other than that, I'm a blonde-by-choice, movie lover with a love for superheroes. If you find Superman or Batman on here, make sure they friend me ASAP.

I've worn many different "hats" including being, but not limited to, a public relations manager (fun because I got to boss around "celebrities"), event planner, music video videographer, production assistant on various films (Hustle and Flow, The Green Mile, etc.), film and book reviewer for different publications, television stand-in, telemarketer, web designer, graphic designer, and ghost writer just to name a few. I've attended events in costume and been paid for it which might just be the most fun way to make a wee bit of money. I've done radio interviews about stuff of which I had no knowledge of because someone paid me to do it. And while I'd say that's not the least fun, it certainly is nerve wracking.

However, the thing I find myself loving the most is when I'm allowed to create or be part of creating something. My idols are those who created worlds that are so rich you could step into them (Jim Henson, Walt Disney, Neil Gaiman just to name a few). So, if someone were to ask me what I do, I'd have to answer that I first dream and then I create.

I'm also an amateur filmmaker who hasn't done much lately in the way of film, but will get back to it very soon. I promise.

"A place where there isn't any trouble. Do you suppose there is such a place Toto? There must be. It's not a place you can get to by a boat or a train. It's far, far away. Behind the moon, beyond the rain." - Dorothy Gale, The Wizard of OZ

"I'm just an ordinary guy with nothing to lose." - Lester Byrnum (Kevin Spacey), American Beauty

"80% of success is showing up." - Woody Allen

"Most people would succeed in small things if they were not troubled with great ambitions." - Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

"Some have great stories, pretty stories that take place at lakes with boats and friends and noodle salad. Just no one in this car. But, a lot of people, that's their story. Good times, noodle salad. What makes it so hard is not that you had it bad, but that you're that pissed that so many others had it good." - Melvin Udall (Jack Nicholson), As Good As It Gets
