Originally formed in 2001, the Marcus Chaney Band is a guitar driven funky
jazz fusion band playing a mix of covers and originals. The recordings on this page are not from any commercial release and are purely here to give an idea of what we do...if anyone has a problem with the covers presented here then please contact me and I will remove them.In the past 7 years the band has seen various changes (mainly at the drummers stool) and has played accross the south of England from Exeter & Plymouth to Bristol and London. We have played at the Cheltenham Jazz Fringe Festival and have supported the likes of JTQ and Soft Machine at the Exeter Vibraphonic Festival.After a two year break we are now back up and running and with a new impetus to write our own material maybe with a view to recording an album in the near future.Watch this space for gigs and news!
