Aiden’s exciting, unique voice blends seamlessly with his innovative music setting this dynamic performer apart.With roots in Cincinnati, Aiden knew from an early age that performing was in his blood. He attended the well-respected School for Creative and Performing Arts dedicating himself to perfecting his acting, dancing and musical abilities. The rigorous schedule of performing professionally and balancing his studies at a young age unknowingly was preparing him for what was ahead. There was never a question in his mind what the next step would be. Immediately following graduation from high school, he moved alone to New York City. Undaunted, he began auditioning, studying and taking odd jobs to support himself and his dream. Quickly, Aiden found success appearing in several off-off Broadway plays, summer stock, and traveling the United States and Europe in touring productions. While an exciting time for Aiden, something was missing. Unfulfilled, he decided to take a break from performing to try and discover his next step.Living in the East Village, Aiden discovered the downtown music scene and started to explore New York’s underground nightlife. With all of its eccentricities, it provided a sense of expression that he had never experienced before. The nightlife culture and house music was inspirational and Aiden began to realize that as an artist, he needed to express himself not through another’s words and vision, but through his own. Knowing his direction, he began working with performance artist/songwriter Sun PK. Collaborating together; they wrote memorable songs such as “A Simple Love”, “Now I Know”, “Think Blue”, and “Little Did I Know”. Early influences of Erasure, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, and Madonna blended with the innovative sounds of Moby and William Orbit; Aiden’s sound began to take shape. Furthering his sound and in Aiden’s own words “transforming my entire approach to recording,” he met and began working with progressive electronica producer Philip Carroll. The relationship allowed Aiden to experiment and to take risks that were foreign to him. Together they spawned the hooky vocoder infused “Wanna Believe”, the throbbing electronic “Universe”, the piano/string lullaby “Night Falls”, and “Remember You”. “Collaborating is essential,” he says. “It allows me to move beyond myself, and to bridge the perspective to another’s point of view.” Other collaborators have included Steve Rositter, Alex Sanchez, Mike Harrington, Finbarr Massi, and The Nocturnal Agent. In 2006, Aiden attracted the attention of legendary DJ Junior Vasquez and the iconic producer remixed Aiden’s fresh re-working of “Love to Hate You”. Gregory T. Angelo of Next Magazine called Aiden a “fresh new talent, about ready to slice into clubland.” Also, DJ Spinn and Aiden teamed together for the universal anthem ”I Just Go”. The track received much notice and received heavy airplay on Fusion Radio Chicago. NYC appearances have included Crobar, The Bitter End, Barracuda and the legendary CBGB’s amongst others. Not easily definable, Aiden’s aesthetic is definitely in an alternative pop direction. In 2007, Aiden’s joined forces with HMSP Music & released his hit debut single “Please”.Most recently, Aiden began his own companies ASHEA Records and THINKBLUE Publishing. “Creating my own label is incredibly liberating and I am looking forward to not only having a creative home for myself, but for other artist’s as well”. “I love mixing new sounds with simple melodies,” says Aiden. “I love sounds that evoke a journey, a story to be told. I think the most satisfying thing I can do is share my story through my music.”
