Sometimes all it takes is a demo, and that’s simple what it took to launch the ever progressive career of DJ Angelos Styliano. His music spoke for itself gaining him an on the spot booking for that very same day at the East Village staple The Gemini Lounge. Residency soon followed, along with bookings and gigs at some of New York city’s most prominent venues. New Yorkers can't keep a secret for long and word about DJ Angelos talents on the turn tables got out. From bookings at G Lounge, XL, BLU and the legendary Splash Bar (SBNY). DJ Angelos honed his musical talents. Not only did he then go on to open for the great Victor Calderone at the Jeffery Sanker’s world renowned Gay Disney party, but during that time spun for the infamous Hilton sisters at their glamorous Bungalow 8 party as well. His ability as a DJ to connect with the audience allowed DJ Angelos to cross musical genre’s, capable of pleasing not only a Hilton sister but a Gay Disney party goer without missing a beat. His tribal high energy and soulful sounds gives this Greek native a sound that’s uniquely his own. A fresh and edgy sound he believes comes from his early exposure to varying forms of music and for his passion for music itself.And with that musical passion his dance floors got bigger and so did his DJ-ing career, opening for the legendary Peter Rahuofer at the luxe Spa Club, and spinning for the masses at the ever popular DO IT parties at key venues such as Downtown, Central Fly, and The Joy Club in New York City. In all appearances DJ Angelos was on the right track to do great things as a DJ.Suddenly at the inevitable rise of his career DJ Angelos decided to do a little soul searching and took a year off from Djing. One of the better decisions his made in his life claims the DJ and who can argue, his returned with a sound better than he had before. Now with his own Tuesday night party at SBNY Splash Bar and fresh from his gig opening for the incomparable Junior Vasquez at Spirit Night Club it appears DJ Angelos never lost his touch. Picking right up from where he left off pleasing party goers from one dance floor to another. The humble DJ Angelos knows only to well the joys of having a career doing something that he really loves, and one can feel that appreciation and energy whenever he spins.
