About Me

Established by neo-contemporary Hip-Hop impresario Peter Agoston, Female Fun Records birthed such critical and consumer favorites as the original "Special Herbs Vol. 1" instrumental album from MF Doom (as well as the equally limited edition "Special Herbs 3"), as well as stellar instrumental projects from the likes of Prince Paul, DJ Spinna (The Jigmastas) and J. Rawls (Lone Catalysts), Ge-ology and Spencer Doran. Most recently, Female Fun has released the top-selling Sadat X (Brand Nubian) sophomore solo-album "Experience & Education" (feat Diamond, Spinna, Ge-ology,The P Brothers, Agallah, Money Boss Players + more) as well as some incredibly special releases in coming up in 2006. Not to be overshadowed, Female Fun has a strong back-catalog of equally stellar material from Raw Produce ("The Feeling of Now" + numerous 12"s), Chris Lowe ("Black Life"), Dooley O ("The Beat Segment"), DJ Hen Boogie ("Nobody Beats The Boog") and others.
