Influences:In the begining it was the struggle, and as the struggle contuniues...Born 6-6-77 Antonio Clay who is a proud father and a soul provider.Eventually was influenced by the hip hop generation in the late 80's.By the unique sounds of artist like Eric B.&Rakim,MC Lyte to KRS1.Well known in the streets of Porstmouth,Virginia as BOOGIE-G.Raised by my mother and taught by the projects I never looked back once to see what position my father played in this game.Thats what made me a strong provider for my family at a young age.Hustling in the streets from a teenager to my early 20's I was back and forth in the courthouse for courtcases that could'of been avoided if I had guidence. The streets was my idol to look up to, I was always reciting rap lyrics as I hustled from the JEFFERY WILSON projects where I was raised to the IDA BARBER projects.Being convicted a few times and doing little jail sentences finally sent me down that road of denile(prison).Prison was where I finally found out who I really was being that I had another chance back at the streets. Some people werent that forechanant enough.I was sentenced to 5years and 13 months in prison.I was in the prison cell with a guy that had 80 years and I was surronded by guys who had double life sentences to guys who had 3 to 400 years.Music was all they could really base their lives on when it came to the streets.Ive been through rap battles to being the most lyrical while on this journey.I was always a stand up guy and stayed to myself minded my own and held my own thats how I survived.I also went to school in prison and got my GED.Getting my GED helped me with my writing skills. When I was released from prison I was and still am determened to complete my journey in this music game. The struggle still contunues as high as gas is I try my best to make it out to open mic nights at certain spots and still make it to work the next morning.Im most certain that Iam a starving artist, starving for the chance to exspose my talent to the world.Change is the major key in the everyday struggle to open the door to success. My music has a touch of a movie,or short story novel filled with street poetry,I call it being Ghetto Poetic providing justice to the listeners.....
