George Issakidis, formerly of The Micronauts now runs and records for his label The Republic of Desire Recordings. The Micronauts were responsible for killer remixes of Underworld, OMD, Death in Vegas, 16B and The Chemical Brothers and their own "The Jag" single and album "Bleep to Bleep" (Virgin). Since leaving The Micronauts, George has spent the last 5 years quietly coding his own custom software for audio/visual live performances and expositions such as INPORT (Estonia), Sketch (London), videA (Barcelona), le Placard (Tokyo) and Ircam (Paris), doing dzir mixes for The Soft Pink Truth, Colder and Caged Baby, working on a video for "Midnight Mike's Mondo Karaoke Pool Party!" project and preparing an onslaught of new electronic audio mayhem for 2006 on The Republic of Desire and on Mute with Speedy J.
