I'm 28, happily married, with a 6 yr old beautiful baby girl, Lexi. I am currently attending Tarrant County College. Our lives are pretty dull socially. I was born and raised in North Carolina, in an extremely small town, with nothing to do, nowhere to go. As much as I miss my family in NC, I love it here in Tx. I'm just me. I'm tired of the people who expect me to be someone/something I'm not. I'm tired of feeling as if I HAVE to try to be that person they want me to be. I will no longer pretend to be someone I'm not, and if you don't like it, well you know what you can do....use your imagination. I'm different and damn proud of it.I'm hoping to reconnect with some long lost schoolmates from Northeast Academy in NC on here. I miss all of my old friends from school, and would love to catch up on their lives. Anything else ya wanna know, just ask! :)Go LONGHORNS!!!
UPDATE: 01/26/08 I have a really good chance of getting into PTA this year with a 4.36 GPA and all but 2 of my pre-reqs done with. Keep your fingers crossed for me, pray for me, whatever works! lol This is what I want so badly, for me, for my family, for my daughter, Lexi, to know when she's older that perseverance pays off and education is so damn important.
UPDATE: 09/22/08 It's been a while since I updated here, but most of you already know that I was accepted into the PTA program this year. I started it in August and man, it's crazy busy. It's stressing me out already, but I'm trying to keep my head about it. Thanks to you guys and my family, I have the support system I need to get through this. Thank you for that.

For those who may question my reasons for putting old pics of me in a slideshow up here, let me assure you that this is not for you. Myspace is probably the only site I visit nowadays other than checking my email and the news. I've put this on here as an incentive to me to get in shape actually, because I know I will see this every day. I lost a ton of weight when I was 18, getting down to 110lbs. Those of you who knew me then know that I was WAY too skinny. While I don't want to become that skinny again, I do want to lose the baby weight and get in shape.
