I am just like you, more or less. ☺
Chances are you are a product of a dysfunctional family, as am I. You probably have siblings, step and natural. So do I (I have one natural sister, two step sisters, and last but not least two step brothers). I would bet that you have, or know someone who is gay or a lesbian in your family. I have one of each in my family.
If you are of age, then you are most likely divorced and/ or remarried. If you are not, then you are probably getting ready to go through a divorce or marriage. As for me, I am divorced and remarried.
My husband has three of his own children and I have three of my own.
Just as most people, I have my addictions. I was a smoker for many years. I am pleased to say I quit! Oh yes I did. It has been one year. My other major addiction is (now don’t laugh) Diet coke! I drink enough to kill a small farm animal. That is not a joke. I need help, sadly there is no rehab for such an addiction. I have been known to tie one on but I am such a light weight that a half a beer or (my Fav) a half of a glass of red wine is honestly enough to get me wasted. So, to say the least I don’t drink much.
If I am not at home working or in my community working I am at the gym. Obsessing on being fit.
Just like most people I have regrets in my life. But, I have come to terms with them, as they make me who I am today. For instance, in my youth I wanted to live on Venice Beach in California in a loft and be a waitress while I became a model and went to law school at night. Yeah, I know it was a bit over the top. Instead, I have lived everywhere but Venice Beach and now my taste is too expensive to live in a tiny beach loft.
I believe it is important to vote and take action in your community. If you don’t like something, then take action! If you choose not to, then you have no right to complain. I believe it is important to give to charity, even if it is only your time. Or, for God sake, donate your old clothes to Goodwill. If you are feeling charitable then you can click on any of the charity links I have on my page and donate a buck or two. Every little bit helps.
My husband is an engineer. No, not the railroad kind. I am a seller on ebay. Though Ebay blows and I want a new auction site to go to.
I have never left North America. I would give my right eye to leave the US but for now I currently reside in Michigan. My plan is to scoot from here in another year or so. Hopefully to Ireland. Cork, Ireland to be specific. Why? You may ask. The answer is quite simple, really. Because I can!
I have several tattoos and plan on getting more. Only my ears and belly are pierced.
