About Me

I am a 42 year old native of Pueblo, Colorado. I am a Firefighter/EMT, have been for over 6 years. I also am an EMT/CPR/First Aid Instructor and an EMS Coordinator. I just joined the Pueblo Emergency Response Team. (Search & Rescue and Fire Teams). Prior to that I worked in Law Enforcement for 12 years. I am married with 5 great kids, 2 sons from my 1st marriage, the oldest is 23 married, did an enlistment in the Air Force and is a lead tech. on the Metro in Las Vegas, the younger one is 20 and works at the county courthouse. My 3 younger ones are 1 girl who is 12 and is into dance, volleyball, band, and is a 4.0 student. My next son is 4, and is cute as can be. Finally, my baby boy is almost 2 and a total animal. I have 3 dogs, a Dalmation, a Shiz Tsu, and a Great Dane. I also now have 4 horses, Charlie and Dexter are 2 year old paint geldings, Luke is a 2 year old Percheron gelding (my gentle giant), and Bud an 1 year old Clydesdale cross stud that is real soon to be a gelding, lol. And My daughter shows pigs in 4-H. So as you can tell we are animal lovers. My interests include bowling, weight lifting, music, riding my Harley, horseback riding and working on my classic 1964 Ford Fairlane 500. We just bought 35 acres of land and are going to be building a house in a couple of years.

Heroes:

Heroes.....that's a kinda tough one. I guess I would initially would have to say my Grandfathers. I thought they walked on water. They were both very hard working men that loved and took good care of their families. It is very hard to see them get old and sick, and to know that their time is short. I lost one of my Grandfathers on July 7th, 2006. It's tough to lose a hero!!! R.I.P. Grandpa!!! We'll ride together when I get there!
