I was born and raised in Minneapolis, and I love it! I live in a great house with five roommates and one big dog: Etta, she is a mastiff. I love interior design; thus much of my time is spent building a bathroom in our basement. I am privileged enough to have a group of friends that love me, and would break legs for me... really I am not joking! I am most content when I know that I am doing something that will make a difference in the lives of others. I am compassionate to a fault, but I wouldn't want to be any other way. I can be easy going, but mostly I am loud and like to have fun. I like to think I am spontaneous, I did backpack through parts of Europe by myself.....and it was extraordinary. I want to lead a life of significance, but I often get too caught up in just leading life. I like to laugh often, play hard, and love deeply.
The best weather is just cold enough for a winter jacket and snowy enough to keep my feet wet, and my cheeks cold. There is something magical about snowfall, it quiets a city and brings a sense that transcends peace. And snow is fun to play in!
I work in the business world, you know, the regular 9-5, but my friends will tell you I rarely get there on time. My only excuse is that I was not built for four walls....I just wasn't. My perfect occupation would be to be an author, speaker and missionary all rolled into one. I think it can be done, and I guess that is half of making it happen!
My favorite color is brown (Hannah, you know why) and I like banana ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, a good book and a warm house.
