We are the Little Rock Nine, the nine children that began integration in Arkansas. See, after the Brown vs Board of Education ruling proclaimed segregation unconstitutional in 1954, Arkansas came up with a plan for desegregation, which began with the integration of Little Rock Central High. We were the nine students chosen to attend the school in 1957.
