Any of my Irish ancestors, Stephen King, Claude Monet, and anyone that's not afraid to be different and stand up for what they believe in with some semblence of intelligence. Anyone who doesn't refer to perfect strangers as darlin' honey or babe. It's not a matter of political correctness, it's a matter of respect!

I have extremely eclectic tastes in music. I like The Doors, The Judds, Allison Krauss, Metallica, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, James Taylor, Van Morrison, Jim Croche, Jimmy Buffet, Alan Jackson, The Killerz, Blink 182, Kelly Clarkson, Elvis Presley, Def Leppard....see? I like a little bit of everything. I adore 80's music....that was my time, baby! I'm not big on rap, though. It has no melody, and the songs area always about how rich and how many girls someone has. Who wants to listen to someone else brag? Not me! Get a life, damn it!
I love scary movies. White Noise, The Others, The Blair Witch Project, The Prophecy, The Sixth Sense, Rose Red.....and I like chick flicks too- Someone Like You, starring Ashley Judd is a great movie.
Gray's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, and anything paranormal- like Ghost Whispers, Moonlight, Ghost Hunters- anything like that.
Anything by Nora Roberts, Kelley Armstrong, Stephen King, Dean Koontz....any books about ghosts, or horror tales, mysteries....I love them all! Romance novels are great, too! Stories about the classic struggle between good and evil are always interesting to me, as well- such as the Left Behind series. If you haven't read it, you should- even if you're not Christian- it's a great read!
Any writer that's not afraid to write about what he believes in- like Nicholas Sparks. That's what I aim to do with my writing-write about what I believe in, and what interests me! I also view the United States Military as my heroes. I spent 8 years in the military, and I know how hard that job is. It's not easy, by any stretch of the imagination, and they need as much respect as we can possibly give them.
