Abysmal

NOTE:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::::::::::::: WE DID NOT NAME OUR BAND BECAUSE OF THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER ALBUM, IF ANYTHING, THEY MUST HAVE BEEN INSPIRED BY OUR EXTREME ROCKING TO WANT TO NAME THIER ALBUM AFTER US :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Abysmal was formed unofficially in late '03 when the first song, "Thy Flesh Consumed" was written and recorded. However, we didn't know at the time that Abysmal would take form. It wasn't until early '05 that Abysmal would writhe and shape from the depths of the Earth. "Thy Flesh Consumed" was originally meant to be a CTS song, and can even be heard on the Cast the Stone full-length "Dark Winds Descending..." entitled "the Reef" (Do not ask us what that means, and no, it is not a marijuana reference, even though we may have been inspired by...). Over the course of '05, we have written an entire album's worth of material, and we plan to record with as many "victims" as possible. The music of Abysmal is designed to bring a tear to the eye with its epic scope, and crush the masses with beat-down grooves that will melt faces. In our opinion, it is a conglomerate of all our favorite styles of metal, with tasteful musicianship and an emphasis on pure melodies that are bound to "get you right there". Even though Abysmal is a two man project, we hope to complete our live line-up with a quickness.
