Music:

i love the creativity of jazz artists. especially when it's set to a great beat. cuban jazz or brazilian jazz or miles davis can be sensuous, exciting, romantic, dirty, and fun all at the same time. i love listening to older romantic r&b sounds. from the stylistics to marvin gaye to earth wind and fire, you can always catch me singing something soulful. then again, they don't always have to be the older cats. i can dig k-ci and jojo, babyface, maxwell, d'angelo, new edition, tony toni tone, boyz II men, etc etc. sometimes, i'm down for a little beat. so i'll throw in the roots, tribe, digable planets - reachin' (a new refutation of time and space) is one of the greatest albums ever. and there's elvis, billy joel, elton john, the beatles, any and almost all 80's music. but most of all, anything that evokes a positive emotion within me, i'll like.

Movies:

do you really wanna go here? i love movies. netflix should be borrowing from my dvd collection! haha. but let's see. some of my favorites...anything steven spielberg. anything george lucas. the usual suspects, glory, crouching tiger hidden dragon, the princess bride, hero, house of flying daggers, lotr, swingers, the red violin, memento...nevermind. too many to name.

Television:

Books:

strictly for fun. well, maybe i'll occasionally read for further education. but typically, it's fiction, especially stephen king. i do enjoy reading mysteries (caleb carr comes to mind), technothrillers, calvin and hobbes, the far side, and the sports page.
