The Trio plays drums for many a band including the Down Tempo king- Bonobo (Ninja Tune) and the wonderfull Alice Russell, and the bad man TM Juke (both on Tru Thoughts). Influences:The Meters are the best band ever to grace the stage, but other people to rock my world are: Edan, El-P, Sage Francis, Krs-One and BDP, Biggie, Big Daddy Kane, Jeru, Apathy, Aseop Rock, Method Man, Necro, Skinny man and the Task Force massive, Group Home, Mr Lif, Beatnuts, Jehst, Kanye West, Common, Terri Callier, Stevie Wonder, Alica Keys, Big Pun, Smith'N'Wesson, Candi Staton, Pharaoh Sanders, Tribe, Nas, Max Roach, Art Blakey, David Axelrod, Galt MacDermot, Shadow, Premier, Bernard Purdie, De La Soul, RJD2, Nina Simone, Aretha, Ella, Ottis Reading, Jimi hendrix, Johnny Cash, Smog, Gillian Welsh, Alison Krass, Bjork, Lee Scratch, Sizzla, Beanie Man, Patto Banton, Bob, Capelton, The Roots. Shit this section is far too hard, basicly i like music that has a good drum beat and an emotional vocal.
