We are a husband and wife team. Tony (the husband) is a drummer and Eloina (the wife) has a background in the sign business. We got the idea for wrapping drums when Tony wanted a new set. We decided that we could make his 13 year old drum set look like new again by wrapping it with a really awesome printed design. We laminated the print to give it a glossy look, shined up the chrome and replaced the heads. Viola! Brand new set!
This process is different from re-covering in that you never have to remove your old shell or worry about messing up your original finish. The material we use is a printable 3M material. It is more commonly used on vehicle wraps. The glossy over-laminate is also 3M brand. The cost for something like this is very reasonable when compared to other re-covering companies.
