My Interests

sustainable living is where it's at ... urban self-sufficiency thru natural building, renewable energy, organic gardening and doing-it-your-damn-self!photography is my secret passion. i look for the emotional context of life revealed through the camera's lense.

I'd like to meet:

conscious people of color who are dedicated to preserving nature and living naturally, who are committed to elevating themselves as well as their brothers and sisters spiritually & economically, who are willing to fight for their ideals.

Music:

music is communication to me, music heals, music inspires, music transforms. right now i live and breathe fertile ground. and of course nothing compares to velvety voice of me'shell n'degeocello. i also dig joy denalane, freundeskreis, sekou the ambassador, les nubians, zap mama, speech, sublime, bob marley, burning spear, peter tosh, dezarie, miles davis, nina simone ... the list continuously evolves and expands.

Movies:

i love to read, soak up information like a sponge. i am on an continuous qwest to gather more knowledge.currently reading "mao: the unknown story".some of my favorites are: "opening to Spirit" by caroline shola arewa, "the Spirit of intimacy" by sobonfu some, "being black: zen and the art of living with fearlessness and grace" by angel kyodo williams, "the unbearable lightness of being" by milan kundera.

Heroes:
