Root 8 Recordings is Scotland's first multicultural record label based within Stow College and also run by Stow's Music Industry Management students. Root 8 is now in its second year of operation and hopes to give all the little music within Scotland, a large hand in gaining the credit that it deseves.
Root 8 Recordings, Scotland's first multicultural record label run by the Music Industry Management students at Stow College, are proud to annouce the follow up to last years ground breaking album, "Welcome", with the release of "NU_ROOTZ", an extensive compilation of Glaswegian urban music recorded by a truly International collective from the Northern Rock Festival Group studios of Royston.
