It took me a while to find myself and actually apply my freakin degree! But here I am, slowly tryin to make it, one day at a time.
I used to be this annoyin scrawny punk that fell in love with every hot girl in sight. I used to hang out in the Glendale galleria or by the arcade in big groups, back in what I know as the "Houser" days and just want to chill/show off to impress others. I wore over sized, bright colored clothes, made by a company called Cross Colors. I went to house parties that used to end @midnight, due to either the cops or nearby gangs that would end up shootin the place. In a rush to grow up, at the age of 16 I picked up the habit of smoking, and found myself sneakin into 18+ clubs with cousins, usin fake i.d.s. After maturing somewhat, I attended Cal State Northridge to find myself studyin Psychology. I also found another big group...moreso, a brotherhood which accepted me for me: Tau Kappa Epsilon (Alpha class # 72! Respect it! LOL.) For the next 3 years, I would still be searching for peace within me. I thought I had to be loved/ACCEPTED by
society...be Mr. Cool Guy just so I could fit into this tiny lil'world.
But in the end (or what is present,) I found that those who were there right by myside...after all the partyin and girls dwindled away, were the onez that I knew I could call my true friendz. There's more to life than what's outside your front door. I've been fortunate to step outside of what I view as a materialistic society (Yes, I TOO AM GUILTY of always wantin to be in fashion)and visit other states/countries. If you get a chance, travel a little and open your eyes. Take in all the natural beauty of life and at the same time view all the real tragedies (not what car you're going to drive next or what clothes to buy for that club you're goin to on Friday night. But the real unfortunate ish.) And then you too will come to cherish what you've had all along. If you've known me since the beginnin, you can see that I've gotten a lil' bigger! (Holiday weight is a Biotch!) LOL. I've come to learn that not everything you see or hear is what it's cracked up to be. I've learned to make the best of what's around me. I wake up every morning and give it my 110% n kno that the rest (if it already hasn't,) will fall into place. I am a Behavior Technician and I work with children with Autism. To this day, there is nothing else that I can find more rewarding for me to do!Sorry if I bored you all to death!
