For those of you who know me, know I have always been independent (that's why I took a chance and moved to Seattle). It's really opened up my eyes in a way I couldn't have imagined. Nonetheless, my life wouldn't be what it is without all the people that I have been blessed with. I'd rather have a few close friends who accept me for me even if I may bitch and complain, than a million acquaintances who pretend to like me. I don't care for superficial people, but instead am intrigued by those that have ambitions and dreams. I'm attracted to those that are creative and have a wild imagination. People that can teach me new things and share with me new insights. I find that nowadays beauty is only skin deep and that a degree doesn't always guarantee a stable job with a good company. I try to always be patient, but at times I get annoyed easily. I've been brought up to be strong, but there are times I feel weak. I'm willing to give everyone a chance, but if I get burned once, I won't let it happen again. Although I'm a strong-willed person, I am not ashamed to lean on friends and family if I need to. I've found that life is definitely what you make of it and I am thankful for all those who have joined me on this crazy ride.
