My Interests

Traveling (though not much time for it now) and movies. Once we flew to San Diego to see a movie. Travel benefits are awesome! I love to bake and decorate cakes.

I'd like to meet:

Keith Howland. If you know who this is I want to be your friend!Keith and Jason...the babies in the band!

Music:

Anything 80's (pop and hair metal alike)!, Chicago is the only band that I will make an effort to see. I will always hold a special place in my heart for NKOTB.

Movies:

Any of John Cusak's early stuff, Die Hard, almost anything by Kevin Smith, The 40-Year-Old Virgin. I'm easily entertained. And...for anybody that's known me for awhile Peter's Friends and Moron Movies!!!

Television:

(In order of importance) House, Lost, Biggest Loser & Dancing with the Stars. I love Hugh Laurie...currently reading his book, The Gun Seller. Very funny!

Books:

Harry Potter, the Scarpetta novels by Patricia Cornwell, the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich...seriously laugh-out-loud funny. The newer Metro Girl isn't bad either. Really...I laughed out loud. It's kinda embarrassing to start laughing/snorting in front of coworkers and customers for what seems like no apparent reason.

Heroes:

I don't know about heroes but I'll tell you...I have so much respect for my mother since becoming one myself. Person I try to be like...my husband, Ryan for more reasons than you care to read about here. We've been together for ten years now and this still rings true! Awww!

My Blog

"Dont compare your twins."

That's what I was told shortly after the twins came.  But how can you  not compare them?  How do you not compare your children in general.  Obviously, I won't try and compare them ...

I don't understand the young people these days. I happen to have a lot of "kids" on my friends list meaning people that are under 18. I have known them all for their whole lives (yes, all of them) and...

Our 4th of July

So I know I don't live in another  country, but sometimes it feels like I do. It didn't hit us for awhile, but we noticed that there are no firework stands here. Weird right? So maybe they have a...

Wicked

Just finished Wicked by somebody MacGuire. If you haven't heard of the book or the play (maybe musical) it's the life story of the Wicked Witch of the West. I had originally bought the book many years...

My Family Circus

While starting the BBQ for dinner... Mom checks on the coals. (or "fire rocks" as Aaron calls them) Aaron: Is the fire good? Mom: No, the fire's gone, but the coals are going. Aaron: Where are they go...
