Be all words born a whisper in a dream unalone

About Me

"The night: a threshold... One of many I suppose"Each word bears the potent vitality for beauty. From my perspective, the best work is an animated result of all human conditions. Whether it be vibrant or lusterless, empathetic or truculent, all things, to a reach, may be channeled through ink; Though, I suppose, much of what we feel will never be understood to our peers or even ourselves, our struggle for explanation just may result in something genuine... Something beautiful. This is why one must succumb to an ardent source of being. This is why I write.

My Interests

Art in whatever manifestation. However, writing and music seem to be the primary if not only source of self-fulfillment in my life."Sometimes I believe that this less material life is our truer life, and that our vain presence on the terraqueous globe is itself the secondary or merely virtual phenomenon." -HP LOVECRAFT

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people, non-comformists, innovators, promoters of self-expression, open-minded people. Bradley Nowell, John Lennon, Jim Morrison, Johnny Cash, Edgar Allen Poe, Chris Farley, Friedrich Nietzsche, Siddhartha Gautama (The compassionate Buddha), Jesus Christ, Rainer Maria Rilke... Unfortunately they are no longer in earthly form, but Trent Reznor, Maynard James Keenan or Roger Waters would be awesome to meet. And of course:
The Geico Caveman

Music:

I enjoy a variety of music. Following is a list of bands and independent composers/musicians that inspire me or I just listen to on occasion: TOOL, RADIOHEAD, PINK FLOYD, NINE INCH NAILS, A PERFECT CIRCLE, THE DOORS, BEETHOVEN, SMASHING PUMPKINS, LED ZEPPELIN, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, The Mars Volta, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Brand New, Incubus, Muse, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Death Cab for Cutie, Rishloo, Queen, Sublime, Pearl Jam, Virgin Black, Stabbing Westward's Darkest Days album... Hmmmm... There are many more but these should offer a general perspective. I'm not big on most contemporary material unless it has some critical in-depth perception to express, but if you know of a band that may strike my fancy, please share the wealth. :-)

Movies:

The Crow (The original one only), Michael Collins, Braveheart, Gladiator, Bad Santa, The Mothman Prophecies, The Godfather, Goodfellas, American History X, The Cable Guy, Willard, Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, War of The Worlds, The Patriot, THE DOORS!, Blow, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,The Girl Next Door, Teenage Caveman, Me and You and Everyone we know, V For Vendetta, K Pax, Thank You for Smoking, VANILLA SKY, THE PIANIST, The Machinist, Spun, HOW TO KILL YOUR NEIGHBOR'S DOG, STAY, Eternal Sunshine and the Spotless Mind, CRASH, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny, Road To Perdition, We don't live here anymore, Waking Life... As you can see I love movies.

Television:

I haven't the time for it. Sometimes, however, I watch Law and Order with my grandmother and grandfather. South Park and Family Guy make me laugh though.

Books:

"Those who dream by day are cognizant of many things which escape those who dream by night" Gothic literature always strikes my fancy :-P. Seriously though. I love reading anything by Edgar Allan Poe. His short stories are amazing. I'm a philosophy nerd as well if I find time. An amazing poetry book I would suggest is In Praise of Mortality by Rainer Maria Rilke. It is phenomenal

Heroes:

Edgar A. Poe, HP Lovecraft, Rainer Maria Rilke, Trent Reznor, Maynard James Keenan, Jim Morrison, Thom York, Roger Waters, Adam Jones, David Gilmour, Billy Howerdel, John Lennon, Billy Corgan, Johnny Depp, Vanderlei Silva, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, Steven lynch, Buddha, Steve Irwin, Bradley Nowell,

My Blog

One more medicated peaceful moment.

Since my previous post, much has progressed, just as much has been rendered stagnant or forgotten altogether. My life has been exposed to some drastic changes, some one can sense, but hardly defi...

Approaching my 20th year of existence

12:00 AM. My neglected bedroom floor is in dissarray as I make preparations to fit a large 1910 oak writing desk against my back wall. I am more than en...

Childish obligations

Childish obligations       There are few things I take notice of externally; whatever the display may be, relevant or not, makes little difference. A more ...

Tool Concert

The show was absolutely amazing. It was by far the best live performance I've ever seen and possibly ever will. -Ray

Very incoherent right now...

It is 11:16 PM and I can't help but find myself sitting in a vacant room typing aimlessly on a laptop computer. I am tired like usual and have nothing of notable signifi...

One day to my birthday...yaayyy... wooohoo.

To exfoliate one's soul, allow each subtle breath to flow evenly in to your lungs, pacing so softly. To cherish the moment in an unrelentless perspective of prosperity... No... Allow all con...

Food for thought... Or my stomach.

In every glimpse of dissaray and ignorance our shallow minds always seem to burden us with their worldly perspectives. We find ourselves incompetent to act accordingly to our desired state. There is s...

Where we go...

Wow. I am relatively incoherent at the moment, lalala. Exhausted. Thursday at 4am I depart for Missouri. It should be interesting: anything that gets me out of here for a while is good for me. ...

"The vacant lives we paint"

So summer is over. Well perhaps not by calendar standards but it is to me. I never update my blogs, only on seasonal changes. I suppose the weather is one of the few things that proves relev...

Summer...

"I need the smell of summer I need it's noises in my ear" Unfortunately summer is like over, and that sucks. I am finishing it off with a 4 day "hippy quest" at Ocean Shores. I'll be gone 'til like Mo...
