We Are All One!!!

About Me

Hello, my name is

myspace icons

Here is a little bit about me: I am very spiritual but not the least bit religious. I believe that there is one Creator and that all belief systems are worshiping the same God, but simply calling Him/Her by different names. I believe in angels and Spirit Guides and talk to them frequently, as well as Ascended Masters like Quan Yin, Buddha, Jesus, etc. I also believe that the angels of Christianity and the gods and goddesses of other belief systems are all the same things... They are aspects of The One, loving energies created by The Creator, and can all be called upon for help and guidance. People have simply chosen to call them different things as a way to separate the beliefs and put people in boxes. I believe in things like chakras, auras, and using stones and crystals to enhance my physical and spiritual well-being. This has nothing to do with my spirituality but, I also believe in the existance of aliens. If you can't accept these things about me, then you can't accept me. I am the person my friends and, for some reason, quite a few strangers, go to for spiritual guidance, advice or just for someone to talk to. I am a vegetarian. No, I don't think that people who eat meat are sick and terrible people because I used to eat meat, too! I believe it is a personal choice and none of anyone else's business and it is a choice that should be respected. I am also very environmentally conscious and I love animals and nature. I am currently working as a teacher's aide for the developmentally disabled while studying for my Bachelors as a Holistic Nutritionist. Living a holistic lifestyle by avoiding chemicals and using food, herbs and homeopathy to stay healthy and heal the body is a passion of mine. I consider myself to be a Glamour Hippie because I love clothes, make-up and jewelry, yet I am into metaphysics and holistic living. I don't look like your stereotypical hippie, but I sure think like one! Ha ha! To look at me, people wouldn't think I am into all of these things and people are usually surprised because I'm nothing like what they expected. I also do some modeling for extra income. If you work in a field that works with models, take a look at my profiles: http://www.modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=93541 http://member.onemodelplace.com/model_list.cfm?ID=127273 http://www.freemodelcentral.com/JenPassavant/Thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile. I wish you good luck and good spirits!Peace, Love & Light!..This profile was edited with MySpace Profile Editor MySpace Profile Editor

My Interests

Here is a Reader's Digest version of my interests: Spirituality, Holistic Nutrition, vegetarianism, the environment, animals and nature, music, dancing (especially at Ouzo's in downtown Kalamazoo on Saturday night because they don't allow smoking, D.J.'s who are either local or from Chicago spin fantastic House music, and the people there are wonderful!), make-up artistry (I have a certificate from a school in Toronto for it) and modeling (only for extra cash because, while working with the developmentally disabled is emotionally rewarding, it isn't financially rewarding). I enjoy going to see movies or going out to dinner. I also like going to a coffee joint and sipping tea while enjoying a good conversation. Going for walks in Milham Park or in the woods behind my house is also very peaceful and relaxing. I also love going to museums (especially if they have a section on ancient Egypt!) and Frederick Meijer Gardens is a terrific place to wander around! I love hanging out with my friends and going shopping (when I can afford it). I think I would like to try wall climbing... I have never done it and it looks like fun! I love to make people laugh and put them at ease. I will even make a fool out of myself just to put a smile on someones face. Sometimes having innocent, child-like fun is just what I need to truly let myself go and laughing until I cry is a wonderful past-time! (So much for the Reader's Digest version, eh? he he he!)

I'd like to meet:

People who share similar interests and people who can open me up to new things. People who have the courtesy to message me before asking me to add me to their friends list (this is a precaution to avoid guys who are what I call "girl collectors" and people who are trying to add as many people as possible to their friends list). People who are on a spiritual journey. People who want to talk to me because of who I am, not my picture. Photographers who would like to work with me on a TFCD basis. I am a member of: Click to visitIt says quite clearly on my profile that I am only on here for the purpose of making friends and networking. I'm not on here looking for someone to date or for someone to be in a serious relationship with because I'm already in a serious relationship with an amazing man, so please don't message me if this is your purpose in doing so. New friends are always welcome, however! I do NOT want to meet people who are just trying to add as many friends as possible. I also would like to avoid meeting closed-minded individuals and spammers.

Music:

I like House music, dance, EuroPop, Trance, Hip-Hop, World music (like Native American Pow Wow, Celtic, Middle Eastern/bellydancing music, music from Africa, India, Asia, etc.), Funk and disco. I am also a big fan of Bob Seger, David Bowie and Frank Sinatra. There are a lot of other artists I like but too many to name. I HATE hard rock (like AC/DC and Def Leopard) and death metal (that kind of music literally gives me a headache)and am not a big fan of country either. If it is not too twangy or I have an appreciation for the artists from hearing it in my childhood, I like it but wouldn't buy the music to listen to on my own.

Movies:

Labyrinth, Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love, Dodgeball, Fifth Element, all of the Matrix movies, The Princess Bride, and TONS more! I like fantasy/sci-fi, comedy, and action movies (and any combination of the three).

Television:

I am currently addicted to Medium, Ghost Hunters, Most Haunted, Derek Acorah's Ghost Towns and am a HUGE fan of all of the Law & Orders. I also like Friends (who doesn't?), Will & Grace and Ellen.

Books:

I love all of the books by Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Elson Haas, Neale Donald Walsch and Dr. Doreen Virtue. I'm like a sponge when it comes to anything having to do with spirituality or nutrition/holistic living.

Heroes:

All those who have the courage to speak their truth despite what others may say (Jesus, Mohammed, etc., plus people today who are being themsleves and living their truths despite the persecution or harassment they may face).
