HOT FreeLayouts.com :: MyHotComments I live to play,write, and listen, to music, I was born into it, my dad was a musician, He formed a band with his brothers in the early '60's they played everything from tejano music to classic rock, they won several battle of the bands competitions and eventually felt they fulfilled there desires,dreams, and aspirations so they retired the band. I began around the age of 4 or 5 while sitting on moms lap with straws in my hands or whatever I could find to use as drumsticks, I observed dad as he was on stage, I began mimicking his rhythmic patterns and techniques that he used while playing. By the time I was 8 years old I found myself on stage behind the drums with 1 drum stick in hand next to dad waiting for a cue so that I could hit the cymbal at the end of his fills cool huh?? I began music lessons soon thereafter, in school band started for me in the 4th grade and choir in the 6th. I took every class that involved music, band,marching band,jazz band,choir.music theory, until I graduated, some of my past and current influences are my DAD, LEE LOPEZ Tool,Slipknot,SheDaisey,Prince,Opeth,Jay P., AB Quintanilla III,Los Arcos,Incognito,Porcupine Tree,Rascal Flatts,Ozzy,Billy Joel,Cradle Of Filth, Mudvayne,and the never forgotten 2Pac. I work behind an 18 piece drum kit, Pearl Export, with Evans Ec2 heads, a Yamaha DTX Express 2 Electric set,AAX Sabian cymbals, Axis pedals, Pearl Piccolo snare, Vic Firth 7a's and for percussion and effects a Zoom microrythm track machine. Currently I am playing METAL with JUNK DRAWER, covers with 80 TONS OF MERCURY,and latin and R&B with TEJANO AWARD NOMINEES JULIA-y-MAS AMBICION. I have done commercials been on local T.V. stations radio stations, internet radio stations done live phone interviews via satellite met many recording artists opened for many famous bands and played stages all across the country, including the City of Lansing's 2003 & 2004's COMMON GROUND FESTIVAL which included acts like SALIVA,EARSHOT, HOOTIE & THE BLOWFISH,MARIO WINANS,MEATLOAF, REO SPEEDWAGON, BLUES TRAVELER,JOHNNY LANG, MONTGOMERY GENTRY,ALICE COOPER,KANSAS,ZZ TOP, and many others. After being nominated for multiple TEJANO AWARDS in 2005, and 2006 MAS AMBICION was invited to play the FAN FAIR in San Antonio, Texas. Since then lead vocalist JULIA PIZZANO has carried on the MAS AMBICION legacy thru her solo albums, and is in the studio right now working on her up coming release and will feature artists like BABYBASH, GRAMMY AWARD WINNER and former KUMBIA KING CHRIS DOMINQUEZ, and FAMA lead vocalist and music producer JAVIER GALVIN, all made possible by the syck and talented team of SYCO ENTERTAINMENT, she is on my top friends so if u dont know who she is...find out!! I am in the studio working on a full length c.d. with JUNK DRAWER and will be available some time in July of this year but......stay on the lookout cuz u just might see me on stage or hear me on the radio!!!!
