About Me

So ya wanna know about me? You asked for it! Ive been playing bass guitar for almost 20 years now. When I got started I Learned to read and write music and I took about 2 years of blues lessons here in Lancaster,Pa. I started out back in the day, playing in some garage cover bands and then one day this dude,(my guitar player at the time of this cover band I was in,that was goin nowhere fast),took me to see his friends band "SOMBER" at their Tuesday night rehearsal. SOMBER was an all original, Hard Core Metal band, mostly coreoghraphed and written by Dan Van Valkenburg.. The bands foremost founder and inovator and main Guitarist. Dan's band check them out, NOW!. It just so happened, that SOMBER was looking to replace their bassist and I just happened to be a bassist. Hmmmm? Anyway, I got a call for an audition, that turned out to be very successful. Traveled...broke down...partied...traveled some more. ..learned to live "broke"...partied some more, studio'd again...gigged alot more, got in trouble,...more traveling....more studio, more gigs, more excesss,MORE,MORE,MORE!!! *SIGH*....... Needless to say, all good things must come to an end. We traveled, studio'd, lived together for about 5 yrs and have alot of war stories. The best fuckin hardcore buds that will always go down swinging! Almost immediatly after that, a good friend, Chris S. calls me, lookin for a bass player. Askin if I would audition. Sure...I need some more shit to get myself into! Bwahahahaha! The band was all original metal and went by "BROKEN". Real catchy metal riffs they had. I joined into the band, soon followed the changing of the name. "MY SISTER SUICIDE" , was the new name that got alot of attention fast. I borrowed a phrase, from an interview I read from Courtney Love in Rolling Stone Magazine. Anyway, In this band I had alot of opportunity to be more involved in the writing process. After the time with SOMBER, my playing had gotten much more precise & better. I then, kinda developed my own uniquie playing style. We re-wrote, partied...(here we go again)...played our fuckin ass's off...wrote more...rocked...partied, studio'd. Then once again. Endings...Indifferences within... Internal Combustion so to speak, took over. The band had stopped at our peak, only after 3 short, very fast years. See what excess will get ya? ONWARD FOCKERS!!! More recently, within oh, the past two years. I've played bass for York,Pa. based Classic Rock band Disorderly Conduct and even more recent, with the Manchester,MD based rock cover band P.U.S.H. Even more recent, I just parted ways with KIVEL RECORDS artist "GOODBYE THRILL". WWW.MYSPACE.COM/GOODBYETHRILL Yeah, I know, "start a band"...I hear this all the time. Well, I would except for one leading factor...every musician in the world wants to be in a fucking Godsmack cover band...wtf? And I chose not to do such a disgusting thang. I'd sooner twiddle my thumbs! Actually, Myself and some old school rocker friends here in Lancaster are kicking around the idea of getting a band together. Why not,? Were getting more request than the local radio stations!!! More about me? Havent you fuckin people had enough? Well, besides me playing bass. I like going out and seeing a lot of bands. I have a lot of friends that play in bands. So I like to show the support. Generally,it doesn't matter who the band is. As long as their good. I like alot of different styles, metal(new and old), 80's glam rock, some country, but I refuse to be sucked in. I grew up ,here in Lancaster PA., but have lived here an their throughout my journeys in life. Lived in Long Island New York; Corpus Christi Texas and North Hollywood California. Got to meet alot of famous rockers along the way. Got to meet the likes of: Shotgun Messiah, Faster Pussycat, La Guns, Jackyl, Kix, Lita Ford, Sharon Osbourne, Ted Nugent, Foghat, 38 Special, The Ramones( which was fuckin awesum),Joan Jett, Hardline, Heavens Edge, Flickerstick, Neil Schon(from Journey/Hardline)(what an asshole), stuttering John(from Howard Stern), Quiet Riot, Ronni James Dio, Kittie, and Mike Muirr (from Suicidal Tendacies). Ok, so that's enough about me so S.T.F.U. & GET THE FUCK OUT! AND STOP SLAMMIN' MY FUCKIN SCREEN DOOR!!! BASTAGE!

My Interests

MY INTEREST? DO YOU REALLY WANT ME TO ELABORATE THIS? As I have so many interest in life. Im not quite sure where to start. My first affection is playing my bass. I seem to go into a world that's just me and it's very relaxing. If ya been their...then yer feelin' me on this one. I like to ride my quad runner with my buds. We all get together, throw some beer in the creek and go around tearin shit up. Myself and all my friends are avid gearheads, so you could find me at the drag strip as well from time to time. My biggest affection is music of course. Wether it be listening to it here at home, playing it live or being entertained by a live band. JUST GIMME MY DAMN MTV..BACK!

I have a very sarcastic sense of humor, so look out! Im quick & very sharp witted with the tongue. I actually dig hangin' w/ my cat. You'd think he was spawned by Hitler's cat. He is relativly cool, but I don't think he understands english. Now don't ya'll get the picture that im a full blown party. I like my quiet time as well (which is generally while i'm sleeping). I do not do the mall thing, unless you happen to be my girlfriend. Then I will gladly go with you. I'm a seasoned auto mechanic by schooling. So, I am quite able to solve your mechanical quirks. Just ask. Amusement parks. Love em(I especially dig roller coasters). I have already done the bungee jumping "thang". I snowboard as much as I can, when we get the snow in these parts. I have a monster truck that I rebuilt over the years, but at these gas prices...ha...i just use it to cause headaches for my close friends, hahahaha, oh, and haul my 4wheeler around in.Already jumped out of a plane parachuting several times. I was an Iron Worker for 10 years building bridges, so heights don't bother me. I dont mind spending time on the computer either. In the last couple of years, I really rocketed my "geekness" on the PC. I play only 1 .. online game. BATTLEFIELD 1942. My call sign is "SGT.Gunny Highway". so look me up bastages!I like the nocturnal life as well. I'm a night person. Just so happens my career is night work. Which is great, cause then I can sleep all day while the rest of the cruel world is slaving to the grind. What do I do? Wouldn't you's fuckin people like to know, huh? You wouldn't understand, but yes. It's legal work. Perverts!

I'd like to meet:
