About Me

Background: Originally from Reno, NV (not anywhere close to Las Vegas, look at a map). I've been in the DC metro area for almost 3 years now and absolutely love it. I work hard and play harder, or so I'd like to think.Likes: Ohio State football and basketball, Nevada basketball, Cleveland Browns, Italy, playing soccer, going to Nats or DC United games, traveling, cooking, meeting new people, learning new things, playing guitar, art in general, partying/happy hours, trivia, Lake Tahoe, music in general (big fan of jazz and emo/alternative), wine, reading, catching a flick, museums, outdoorsy activities, skiing, water skiing, board games, spur of the moment stuff.Dislikes: Fake and pretentious people, people who don't know the difference between "their", "there" and "they're", Michigan fans, peanut butter, tequila, Jager, 85% of all the new music out right now. I'll think of some more things a little later. If you'd like to know anything else, just ask.

My Interests

Refer to "About Me".

I'd like to meet:

Honest, fun, down-to-earth people.

Music:

I like a variety of music. For starters, Dave Matthews Band, Deftones, Def Leppard, A Perfect Circle, AC/DC, Lenny Kravitz, U2, Led Zeppelin, Dr. Dre, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Miles Davis, Rafael Saddiq, Tool, John Coltrane, 311, Eagles, Thursday, Thrice, etc... (pretty random, I know).

Movies:

I'm big fan of Quentin Tarantino so it's no surprise that Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are among my favorites. Others include Seven, Goodfellas, Raging Bull, Sideways, The Matrix, Office Space, Animal House, Fight Club, Big Lebowski, Wedding Crashers, Back to the Future, Goonies, Remember the Titans, Rudy, Office Space, Old School, Unbreakable, JFK, Lucky Number Slevin, and 40 Year Old Virgin.

Television:

I'm not a real big fan of reality TV, so here's the list: 24, CSI, Law & Order, Heroes, The Office, Sportscenter, Jeopardy, sports in general, Family Guy, Simpsons, Sopranos, and Anderson Cooper 360.

Books:

A couple books that I've recently read are David Baldacci's "Camel Club" and Stephen Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People". Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" is on my top ten list. I thought it was an entertaining book. I am also a big fan of John Grisham, Tom Clancy and Dean Koontz. I just finished reading Dan Brown's "Angels & Demons" and John Grisham's "The Street Lawyer"...pretty damn good.

Heroes:

Our family and friends fighting overseas and defending our freedom, my parents, 2006 Italian soccer team...viva l'azzurri!
