About Me

Sometime during my early development my mommy told me I was special. For some relentless reason I decided to find out why and proceeded with the unenviable task of discovering in what aspect I excelled over others? At first I threw myself off the monkey bars, hoping I would fly. The resulting broken arm not only proved that I was not able to fly, but that I also did not possess super human strength. Though that was probably evident by the 6th time I got my ass kicked by the crippled girl down the street. I found out I didn't have x-ray vision, or night-vision, or even super dooper senses when I closed my eyes and tried to cross a highway in the dark......um yeah that was bad. Thankfully, the judge dismissed it as a case of sleepwalking. Eventually, a series of tests proved conclusively that I wasn't exceptionally fast, smart, strong, tall, athletic, witty, telepathic, telekinetic, pyrokinetic, pharmacokinetic, or any other -kinetic......I wasnt even the color green which wouldve been SUPER cool. My explosive diarrhea turned out to be just a gastrointestinal problem, and my talent for deterring small animals and killing plants as I passed by was just the result of weeks of not showering. It hadn't occurred to me to ask my mother HOW I was actually special until last week. Her response - "Oh honey......that's just a polite way of saying you're retarded. SMOOCHES!!!"Here's some of my fave recent pictures and some of 2007's year in pictures:....

My Interests

I'm one o'dem people that loves to travel. I've pretty much been around the world and seen a lot of great places. Meeting new people and making new friends is always a pleasure.....though doctors have diagnosed it as a clinical condition stemming from a deep seeded need to be loved. I really enjoy partying, skiing, going to the beach, eating, shopping, & umm cuddling. I'm a huge movie buff and cinephile. Electronic music is also a big part of my life and I LOVE dj'ing and going out clubbing. My weekends usually consist of spinning in NYC, Philly, Boston, or DC, getting munted at some club, out boozin' with my friends, or going to the movies. I've been dubbed the dumbest smart person ever, though I have no idea why.........hmm something to do with no common sense........bah I forget. Maybe it's because I spend a lot of time thinking about sex........errr I mean the dire straights of the crisis in the middle east and the great unanswered questions of our time. Ok fine, I also think about sex a lot too. I'm pretty adept at swimming, squash, running, & tennis........playing pool, and *cough* chess *cough*.......

I'd like to meet:

some famous people......maybe some cool people..... definitely some hot chicks.....some new friends and old friends.....and I guess some martians too.Ronaldinho and Inamoto

Music:

I'm heavily into electronic music of all types.....from progressive house and breaks to tribal and deep house. I also love trip hop, acid jazz, bossa nova, ambient breaks. All these genres fall under the electronica umbrella (not techno!). That's a pet peeve of mine.......when people catagorize all electronic music as techno. Techno is actually only one subgenre of electronica and one that I don't have much appreciation for. Some of my favorite producers/dj's are Ashley Casselle, Luke Chable, Steve Gerrard, G-Pal, Dousk, Sultan, Thievery Corporation, Ulrich Schnauss, PvD, Kosmas Epsilon, Klint. I've always loved classic rock. Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Cream, CCR, Steve Miller Band. U2, Coldplay, Radiohead, and um Madonna, and Michael Jackson.........there I admitted it!!!!

Movies:

I'm a big movie buff and it's tough to single out favorite movies but some of my tops would be "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind", "Shawshank Redemption", "Amelie", "Bad Santa", "The Matrix", "Fight Club", "Se7en" (David Fincher is my favorite director). I probably go to the movies about 20-25 times a year and I have an extensive DVD collection that numbers over 500 (totally bragging here......or proving what an addiction & a useless waste of money DVD buying has become). Most of the DVD's that I buy are still in their wrapping and are just for the novelty b/c I'm a collector and I like to have movies that I know are good. I have a insanely acute affinity for any and all movie trivia and I can pretty much rattle off all information about any actor/director/movie/writer.

Television:

I don't really ever watch tv that much at all ever but lets see......Mondays there's 24 and Prison Break, Wednesday's there's Lost, Thursday's I watch the DVR'd South Park and Drawn Together, Friday's I'll catch up on some Daily Show reruns, Friday's I go out (or pretend to), theres always something somewhere on Saturday's, then Sundays I got Family Guy!!!!!! and I used to have Six Feet Under, and now Sopranos!!!!! and Grey's Anatomy is pretty cool too. Oh and I forgot what night Nip/Tuck is on but that show is also DA BOMB! so yeah.....I never watch TV except for a couple of shows here and there.

Books:

Currently: "Children of the Alley", by Naguib Mahfouz. Authors: Chuck Palahniuk, Robert Jordan (RIP), Stephen King, Elmore Leonard, Anne Rice, Naomi Novik, Robert Ludlum, Nick Hornby. "The Dark Tower" series, "Wheel Of Time" series, "Temeraire" series. I'm loving this series so far. I also finished re-reading the entire Wheel Of Time series (by Robert Jordan). Choke, Fight Club, Vampire Chronicles. I also love reading.......um Wikipedia.

Heroes:

Conan The Barbarian, Idamunch Djabouty, Sakit Toomey, Dick Swells, and of course my daddy
