Fuchsia Records is a little multimedia project set up by Ben Bexton and Laura Moakes of Do It Outside. We aim in the long term to provide audio recording facilities for bands to lay down a demo or even album. But for the mean time we are concentrating on providing gigs and the photography side, with our photographer Elly O'Grady.
The Music:
In the background their should be playing Do It Outside's song "Man Whore" here at Fuchsia, we spent a few hours taking this dead old sample song, mastered it, and added a few effects to make this dead sample come to life.
- Please note, Fuchsia Records. doesn't have its own studio as of yet, but we are able to recommend recording studios in the area, and further a field -
The Gigs:
We are currently in the process of organising a few gigs in the Chesterfield area (Sheffield, Matlock, Bakewell too!) with only the best local talents and some undiscovered bands / artists, these events are aimed to be a great value for money night out, and a good party too! Some come on down and have some fun!
What We Want From You:
If your in a band, and want a hand with publicising gigs, want a website or even space for a website, getting some gigs, or even just want an extra MySpce for one of your songs, drop us a message or comment and we shall see what we can do.
