I would rather be hated for what I am, than loved for what I am not. I'm not looking for a relationship. When I say friends, I really mean friends. I'm straightforward and honest, I expect you to be the same. I'm looking for random conversation with like minded people. I believe that for some people, tact is for people not witty enough to be sarcastic...and sarcasm is mostly wasted on fools. Stupid or close-minded people annoy me. I deal with stupid people all day long...so if you're stupid and/or close-minded, please don't bother me. Just go away...shoo shoo to stupid, close-minded people. I'm not interested in the regression of evolution in my own species. My work can be fun, I love to laugh, listen, give unsolicited advice, I can talk up a deep storm, appreciate the little things, I like minds... If you make me laugh you've done me right. I am deep and funny, I am impatient at times, slow me down. I am spiritual but not religious, sensual not superficial, forgiving but not made of stone, bigger than life, not dominating. I am not rich, and I do not want you to be either, I don't want opportunists, I want my equal mentality. I don't need your money or status or immaturity. If you whine to me about not having a girlfriend, talk to me about how no girls like you, guess what...that's why no girls like you. You're sad and pathetic and you're looking for a girl to give you a life. When you're dissatisfied with that life, you'll cheat on her and leave her. By the way, I'm not a misandrist but with women and men, respect and trust are not just given to you because you exist. It takes time to develop both in friendship and in love. I have my life and with or without a man, it's a good life. I have loved before, I know it's amazing, I was in awe of that love...so I'm not going to settle for just any Tom, Dick or *enter your SN here* that's out there. =c) There...my rant is done. Music:

I love everything from Techno to HipHop to Jazz and Big Band. I love Harry Connick Jr., The Andrew Sisters, Rascal Flats, Kelly Clarkson, Eminem, Reverend Horton Heat and Mozart. Any music that speaks to me, makes me happy, makes me sad or makes me wonder about the world outside of my own.

Movies:

I love any movie that can make me really think (American History X, Pianist, Capote, Donnie Darko, Lost Boys, A Beautiful Mind, Clockwork Orange and anything by Quentin Tarantino). I love any movie that makes me love being a girl (Bridgette Jone's Diary, 13 Going on 30, Beaches, Steele Magnolias) and then those movies that bring out my tomboy side (Red Vs Blue, X-men, Batman). Of course, there's just not enough that you can say about the classics; Ten Commandments, Sparticus, Cleopatra, Father of the Bride Casablanca etc etc and then just those movies that make me laugh (Shallow Hal, Zoolander, and all of the Pixlar films)!!! And my little ode here to a nice cult classic "Are you gonna bark all day, little doggy, or are you gonna bite?"...if you don't know it, then QT isn't your guy.

Television:

CSI, That 70's Show, Law & Order, 24, Psyche! and various sports (Except hockey...never watch Hockey on television, destroys the whole sport). I'm also a huge fan of Red Vs. Blue. Great humor.

Books:

Anything by Nora Robert (and yes, JD Robb of course!) Good Omens by Neil Gaiman,Terry Pratchett and I really loved the Davinci Code, Dan Brown. The books list is endless. I have two rooms full of books and they are my food for the soul.

Heroes:

My grandmother (she's the original WonderWoman!) Eve Dallas =c) Zainab Salbi, Jimmy Stewart, SpongeBob and someone I look up to: Arianna Huffington. And someone I'd so marry if he was single and...age comparable...Barak Obama. *sigh* I had tears in my eyes at his nice little address for US Senator. WHY can we have people like that here? How'd Illinois rate so lucky?! Other people that I admire greatly are Queen Noor and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah for their amazing works in Jordan. And finally, Keyser Soze...he's a mastermind and he's brilliant and I don't care if he IS fiction. If you're a guy, and you don't really know who I'm talking about...well, then...that's just sad.
