About Me

I spend my mornings immersing little pre-school kids in the Ojibwe language. I also teach 3rd year Ojibwe at the University of Minnesota in the afternoons, and a first year course in Ojibwe at Fond du Lac Tribal Community College. It's fun. I'm am close to finishing up the PhD at the U of M as well. All I really have left is the dissertation, but that could take me a year to write! We'll see. We head up to Mille Lacs almost every week to work with the elders on the Ojibwe language. Priceless visits!

Jam on it video by Newcleus! Simply a classic and old school breakdancing music. We used to break to this song back in the day! Windmilling on cardboard. Those were the days!!!This is Turbo in the movie Breakin. A classic routine to the song "Tour de France" by Kraftwerk! And, the best version of "Tour de France" also!

I like to read Ojibwe texts and boring linguistics books/articles. :) I wish I could say that I've read The Da Vinci Code, but I haven't! :( I wish I could say that I've read any book for fun, but I haven't! :( Dang, I gotta read more books!!! :) The movie is good enuff for me I guess. :)
