to name a places I've trained few.... I attended New Orleans Center for Creative Arts where I began training strictly in the Dance Department studying primarily pointe, modern, jazz, and tap dance. I broadened my horizons when transferring into the Musical Theatre Department, where I studied music, dance (jazz, musical theatre, tap, ballet, and jazz), and theatre daily. After graduating, I moved to Chicago and studied MT at Columbia College Chicago, where I performed in the 2004 Cast of 'Guys and Dolls'. I have done several theatrical shows including: Sideshow, Anything Goes, and Leader of the Pack @ the historical Le Petit Theatre de Vieux Carre. I was last seen on stage in Garbeau's Dinner Theatre's production of 'All Night Jazz Strut: A Fascinating Rhythm.' where I worked as assistant choreographer. Movie credits include 'Skeleton Key' and The Disney Channel's made for tv movie, 'Stuck in the Suburbs.' I was also a featured performer in the PBS documentary 'Ecos Latinos'.
I love to share my passion for dance and fitness. I enjoy helping others improve their health, confidence, and overall quality of life through adopting a lifestyle of fitness. Whether it be from social dance, vigorous athletic training, or a brisk walk 3 times a week, any exercise is better than nothing at all!! Something needs to be said for the obesity epidemic our nation is facing and many people aren't even aware of the poisons we are feeding our bodies! 25% of Americans live a sedentary lifestyle and more than 60% are considered obese. Obesity is related to cardiovascular disease, colon cancer, high blood pressure, type II diabetes... It's serious stuff and it's effecting not only adults, but kids of all races and social classes. I would just like to encourage others become aware and recognize that change is possible and results are real.... important.
