About Me

100% Bahamian and Loving It………The self proclaimed King of underground Dancehall Reggae music in the Bahamas, is working hard on proving his place in the game.Born and raised in Nassau, Bahamas. Bad Boy Prezy’s musical history started out as a young boy playing the drums. While developing a love for most genres of music, Reggae the music of Jamaica and Junkanoo the native music of The Bahamas always stood out as his favorite because of the strong rhythmic feeling. Motivation from both cultures brought creativity, so Prezy began writing and performing locally developing his own unique sound.Relocating to the Tampa Bay area and obtaining an Electronic Engineering Degree, Prezy hustled his way through all the adversity of being an underground Dancehall artist and linked with local acts, ghost writing and performing for more experience in the game. Bad Boy Prezy went from unknown to local celeb competing for every music competition at the time and blowing pass his challengers. (Clear Channel Big Battle 93.3flz, Warner Bros. Battle of the Bands 1st Place, Def Jam Show Case, Disney Show Case, Tampa Bay 94.9)Coming from the underground aspect of music Bad Boy Prezy got the attention of major labels when he composed the song “Teenage Rock” for a local Tampa artist, which earned him a spot in Clear Channels Big Battle Hall of Fame. This song would continue to remain number one on the radio for two consecutive weeks, blowing away some of music’s top mainstream artist. The success of this composition brought lots of recognition to Prezy’s talent demanding a following and grabbing the attention of majors such as Universal, Sony, Trans World Continental and Disney. This, opened many doors which lead to working with multi-platinum producers and opening up shows for some of the biggest names in Pop and Hip-Hop.Bad Boy Prezy show cases some of his versatility on tracks like “That’s Right”, were he brings a mainstream dancehall aggressive feeling to the song, and on “I’m A G” were his cocky delivery depics that of an island thug.Currently, working in New York on a few projects, Bad Boy Prezy is holding it down for the Bahamas while making it hot for his Banging Debut.http://s152.photobucket.com/albums/s174/BadBoyPrezy/?a ction=view&current=.my_first_widget.pbwI edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
