2008-05-17 | video in the final round
Felix Marc's video "Give back the moments" is among the 10 finalists for the UTV Music Video Award 2008. During the final round, all Top Ten videos will be presented and a jury with accredited members will award the winners with the UTV Music Video Award in gold, silver and bronze.
The final round takes place on Saturday, May 24th, 2008 at the ost klub , schwarzenbergplatz 10, A-1040 vienna

The video "Give back the moments" will be featured on the first Infacted Recordings DVD compilation "Visual Infaction" that will be out end of May 2008. You can pre-order it at www.infrarot.de .

At last, and with the release of the album “Pathways” close at hand, the entire video of “Give back the moments” is now online on www.felixmarc.de and www.myspace.com/felixmarcmusic

Influences: In music, I try to combine harmonic melodies with dancable rhythms without becoming primitive. The lyrics are about self-experiences and self-impressions, and sometimes even show parallels to social topics. The songs have mostly a melancholic character and orient themselves audibly at the sound of the 80's.

A lot of inspiration is acquired through my interest in poetry, especially Irish poets like W.B. Yeats, and romantic painters like Caspar David Friedrich, Johan Christian Dahl, and Ernst Ferdinand Oehme.
