Trans-mission

About Me

Let me introduce Trans-Mission we are a "Pyscho-Garage Rock'n'Roll band" from London. Our sound incoporates the pyschedelic guitar tones of the late 60's and the Garage Rock'n'Roll/Punk sounds of the late 60's and 70's while feeling an alternative rock vibe. We have been together in various guises for the past 7 years though October 2004 saw a shift in direction, new guitarist and name change from the mad trap to Trans-Mission. We can generally be found in the varying London rat race music scene venues and have taken the sound to the North of England on occasions. Our 2005 debut 6 song EP "AWAY IN THE DISTANCE" sold out within 10 months of release and enabled us to record our follow up EP "A MINUTE TO WAIT".Released in the U.K in February 2007 the record sold well though did not match the success of the first record. This was followed in 2007 of a growing desire for a new direction and new style which we have entitiled pyscho/garage rock'n'roll. We debuted our new sound in a sold out show at London's The Hope and Anchor venue in December 2007 and recorded our 3rd and most recent release at Sarm East Studios in London between April and June of 2008. This was follwed by the news of a U.S distribution deal by our label mad trap records. Released in the U.K and U.S.A in time for Halloween 2008 our 3rd record "A NIGHT AT THE THEATRE ENDS IN MURDER" which is more a mini album than EP contains 7 songs and is selling well in the U.S with growing airplay. You can watch our first music video for "WAY OUT" off our 1st EP below. Filmed on location in Soho and edited at Metropolis in Bloomsbury.
