Last Star Down [new song up + writing new songs]

In a world raped by corporations with a dollar sign focus, in a society stimulating the cult of egocentrism, in a time when the latest escapades of fake superstars are more newsworthy than war and starvation, Last Star Down stood up against this so called modern way of life dictated by fear, apathy and ignorance, by promoting values such as friendship, integrity, sincerity, tolerance and respect towards every living creature.
Coming from the Antwerp-area, this five piece band has been around in its current and steady line-up since two thousand and five, bringing honest, dedicated and passionate hardcore with an own unique sound, probably best described as some kind of modern eclectical and emotional mid-tempo hardcore, with modest influences of bands like BoySetsFire, Morning Again, Poison the Well, Serene, Standstill and Comeback Kid.
After a 3-track-promo-cd (2005) and a self-released mini-cd “The Habituation of The Conscience” (2006) Last Star Down caught the attention of I For Us Records , which released the bands debut EP “The Comfortable Dark Knownothingness” in 2007.
Whilst trying to maintain a high standard of quality in their songwriting, Last Star Down is above all a live-band full of energy with the intention to do as much shows as possible.
