Go to college

About Me

See that long list of crappy jobs? (and I left off all short term waitress jobs even...) See all the Jr. colleges? OK now look at my income level... GO TO COLLEGE! 'nuf said.
I'm a professional pain in the ass. It doesn't pay well and it takes about a year for anyone to actually take you seriously. Often by that time it's too late. But who can blame them? I have no DEGREE.
I have no idea what I want to do. I changed "careers" at 33, and I say "career" lightly. Well it's not like I changed, because that would imply I actually started a new career path. I have not. I am not good at anything in particular. I am nice. I am honest. I care. I will always do my best. Unfortunately, all that gets me is over worked and under paid.
So don't ask me where I see myself in 5 years, or what I "really" want to do, because I don't know. OK? I don't know. I haven't got it all figured out and I doubt I will anytime soon. No biggie. I love my friends and family. I love where I live. Life's pretty good. :)
One of those lame test... can't possibly be right. I think it's broke.

My Interests

Painting (oils on canvas, not houses), cats, sleeping, sun. Like everyone, there are all kinds of things I'd love to learn more about. Who knows, I might love it, I might hate it; the obstacles are money, time, someone to do them with and my will to stop watching TV. What are those things? The list changes daily. Maybe we have a few of the same items on that list.
One of my favorite artists.
Master instructor
Bob Kuhn
Mian Situ
John Asaro
Scott Burdick
Morgan Weistling
Steve Hanks

I'd like to meet:

(well who I do meet)
.. width="425" height="350" ..
You know that guy...

Music:

D^2, The Clash, BBVD, hahaha... really have no clue. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to what I like. You think I might like something, send me some tunes. I promise I'll listen at least once. Hell, even the White Stripes grew on me. Go figure.

Movies:

I like most movies. My cousin, who works in film, cringes at some of my choices...but what can I say. I am easy to please. I do like those chick flicks. Dark movies too...LOVE those.

Television:

I have a new used tv in the garage. It might make it to my living room soon.

Books:

Wheel of Time series, Mists of Avalon, Far Pavillions, Contact, Pale Blue Dot, Pleasure of Finding Things Out, The Stand, some boring serious shit no one else likes, exactly one really bad romance/sci-fi book my friend Dana lent me years ago while staying at her house, early Stephen King...

Heroes:

My dad. I don't know that I could have done it. Angie. She judges no one, I love her for that. Cheryl. She got a B in that math class I dropped. Damn girl is smart. Suzanne. She has the most positive attitude of anyone I have ever met. She has stick-to-it-ivness and I REALLY admire that. My mom, who is creative in a way I only wish I could be. There are people you read about that are amazing...but I prefer to list folks I know.

My Blog

Minimalist

I have always claimed to be a minimalist. I am not really into stuff. By that I mean, I don't want things, some basic things even like a bed, furniture, jewelry, knick-knacks, clothes. Well, the latte...
