Christian Living, Music, Money, Family, Movies, Gym, My Students (especially c/o '03-'05 lol), Good Books, Traveling, Fashion, Songwriting, Creativity, etc. Also because I want to actually get to know the people I converse with, I'm not trying to have 6,000 friends on here(lol). I really want to take my time to view a little of your world and share mine as well. So, NO it's not arrogance or grandiloquence. That is NEVER intended from me.PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS LOL!!
Janet Jackson, Susie Owens, T.D. Jakes, Noel Jones, Brandy, Eva Pigford, Halle Berry, J Lo, and Janet Jackson. Did I say Janet Jackson? I'm now focusing more on becoming the person that others would like to meet.View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment
Now, you all have really done it. I am going to attempt to keep this list as short as possible. THE CLARK SISTERS are the best singers alive. Yvette Williams(formerly Ms. Tonex)is from another planet and definitely marriage material =0), Nancey Jackson, J Moss, Tonex (not as much as I did in the past, but no male can outsing him!), Marvin Winans, Kim Burrell, Kierra "KiKi" Sheard, Sheri (from Ted and Sheri), Mary Mary (tina is a crazy) TYE TRIBBETT & GA are MY PEEPS! I love them so much for their innovation and how they make sick music with NO wordly influence! I wish more Gospel Artists would do that! Be ORIGINAL! Trinitee 5:7, Richard Smallwood & Vision, Kurt Carr and his singers(those 2 piercing sopranos Shavonne Wells and Yvette Williams(different Yvette), Melanie Daniels. Okay now on to R&B! BRANDY, Beyonce (of course), Janet Jackson (China Love), Ciara (dancing of course), Chris Brown is a talented "youngin" I think, Lalah Hathaway, Amel Larrieux (she is a beast), Mariah Carey (in the studio lol), Rashaan Patterson, Blu Cantrell (she belongs in church), Busta is innovative, Pharell, LIL KIM (praying for her) I just love good music! I'm going to stop now, but I can fill this whole page up! Oh wait..SHAKIRA! SHE IS SICK! Q-Tip as well. Oh Yeah KANYE WEST! OH Erykah Badu ("in love with you" is so HOT!) N'Dambi is fire as well. Add ons (2007) The BeeGees, Celine Dion (how could I forget?), Casting Crowns!!Neyo (songwriting) Rihanna!!!
The Wizard of Oz yo! You may laugh, but all of us have wanted to escape to a far away place before and Oz (not the jail) is the HOT SPOT! The Color Purple was the best African American film depicting life at those times. Everytime I watch it, I feel as if I'm there although I was born in the 80's. Fatal Attraction (I've had my share of those!), A Low Down Dirty Shame (corny, but interesting), I love horror movies! Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Amityville Horror, etc. Player's Club, all the Friday movies, Underworld 2, Resident Evil 2, Harlem Nights (lol), I'm going blank. Oh yes, Pippy Longstockings! That movie is also an escape from the reality of a cruel world. The Passion was exceptional! I could only watch it once though. Rush Hour 1,2..Scarface! The 40 Year Old Virgin! LOL! That was hilarious!
I am a Reality TV junkie somewhat. Real Time with Bill Maher, Chapelle Show, I LOVE NEW YORK!!, What Not to Wear, Trading Spouses, etc.
The books that have impacted me the most recently are "The Purpose Driven Life" and "He-Motions". The Word Of God always, and the Teachers' Editions I have to look at everyday (lol).
You know what I am going to say! God/Jesus! I would have to also say my mother and father. They are the epitome of hard work and perseverance. I am privileged to be the son of such great people of God. They are REAL and that is RARE these days. Trust me. Big ups to King David as well. He taught me how to handle my enemies.
