About Me

I grew up in rural North Carolina and somehow managed to transcend it all but the accent and shaggy hair. Four years at Duke and three more at Georgetown Law left me running for California for warmer weather. I'm loud, brash, bad at names, a karaoke monster, a coffee feind, wannabe cook, whiskey drinker, grammar snob, and sun worshipper. I work too much. I read too many blogs. I love politics and political gossip. I swear too much. I'll argue for sport. I drive a jeep I've had for eight years and driven cross-country thrice. I'm easily distracted by shiny objects and Italian shoes.
