Clarence III, Ian, Lonzo, Lee, Miguel...my brothers, our father is still the best man in the world, but now he is looking down on us wanting us to remember everything he taught us, let's make him proud. He knew the heart of each one of us, Cla': He had so much faith in you and you could always make him laugh during our "Godsong" practices, dad said "man you remind me of myself" & you protected all of us whenever daddy wasn't with us. Besides Diddy you are my favorite singer. Claburn! Ian: Dad knew you were smart as they come, and as openminded as they come, you were always the more calm brother who spoke up for everyone else, you always said "but dad" even if you got in trouble...haha. And dad also knew that you were a part of the group because he knew you could sing bass even though singing wasn't your thing, he always told you that you can do it. Goo! Lonzo: "Godsongs" drummer boy! lol! Man dad knew you could do any song he gave us&I remember him sitting there just listening to you&Cla beat on those drums man, he was so proud. And who would have thought you could sing&play drums at the same time? Dad did. Bonzo Lonz! Lee: Diddy's twin! haha! Dad knew what he was doing when he told you that you were the bass guitar! Man you looked so much like dad with your glasses falling down your nose playing that guitar&dad was proud that he could pass his skills on to you man, he thought you were BAD! Leedo! Miguel: You are the youngest&dad would always call me&talk about you, what you guys did when he saw you&how much you helped out when you would visit&how you really are a good young man. Dad loved you, he said he knew that one day you would realize that you were raised in church&you don't have to be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is right, and we all love you and miss you little brother. Miguel-ito!
Now Stephen&Donny: We all basically grew up together, all 7 of us dealt with the "brady bunch" title! lol. The important thing is, we were a solid family! Don't act like ya'll didn't sing with us too! "Rise Again" Easter in AZ! haha! Yea, no one forgot that, Dad&Stacee always said, we were so blessed to be so close, because we were meant to be a family! They are so right. We have to continue to be. Dad loves all of us, I know he is gone now...but he will never leave our hearts and our minds. We have to stick together brothers. I love you guys&see you soon.
Like Dad said to all of us a while back&Lee reminded me: "when I leave this world, you all better not be crying, celebrate me"
