Hard Fall Down

About Me

A group of musicians from varied walks of life have helped erich get his own music out there. After leaving Martha's Vineyard-based hip-hop act 2nd Power, Erich worked shortly with Danny Kortchmar, longtime guitarist and producer for acts like James Taylor, Don Henley, Carol King and other 70s greats. After a few years, erich got enough songs written to start thinking about getting into the Studio. While in the studio, a few music friends came in to help. His Cousin Evan Dando of The Lemonheads, Julianna Hatfield, and others came in to add vocals and other stuff. He currently is working on his debut album, Erich Luening, "Hard Fall Down." Some of his tracks (un-mixed) are available here.Erich extras: I am also a freelance writer and NPR correspondent by trade. I was in a bad car accident in 2002. Broke most bones below the belt, save the most important one--I wont say anymore. The "near death experience" sparked some creative flow. A lot of the stuff on the debut EP is coming from that expeirence, though not all of it. I am looking to play more gigs around New England this year to promote the album and stuff, so I hope to meet some of you in person some day.Go easy,e
