I'm a student at Walla Walla University, studying to be a teacher. Why a teacher? well, most of my life I've been trying to get out of school. I took a year off of college to be a student missionary on the island of Pohnpei in Micronesia. I taught 2nd grade and loved it. The vice principle kept pushing me to change my Psychology major to Education. When i came home at the end of the year i thought about it some more and started to really miss my students, the people, teaching, and the whole island in general. I don't think a day has gone by that i haven't thought to some degree about my experience there. Just ask those around me, like Nathan. I came home and changed my major to Education. I hope that in my life i can be a positive influence to many more students around the world. If you ever want to to hear anything about Pohnpei, just ask, i would love to tell you all about it.
My little sister is going to have a baby and that will make me an Auntie! I'm so excited!
