Danny Reyes Jazz

I'm a 19 year old guy who is in love with music. I was attending the University of Texas at El Paso, where I studied with Mr. Sam Trimble (He's an amazing player, teacher, but most important, a great person). I am transferring to William Paterson in Wayne, New Jersey, Thank you God!!! I am a trumpet player whose dream is to be a professional jazz musician and be able to support a family with my playing and hopefully touch people's lives with my music. I love being on stage because no matter what has happened during the day, it all goes away and everything becomes right. I truly believe that a musician's greatest accomplishment is knowing people enjoy watching you perform and might even be a little more interested in that style or genre of music. I truly believe that the best way to learn is by experience, so I'm not afraid of playing (although I do hate messing up, even when I'm just playing by myself in a practice room! LOL) But it's all good cuz it's all a part of the ongoing journey of making music and mistakes are ineveitable. The tracks you hear above were recorded for the audition for William Paterson so I'm using it as a demo. I gotta thank Eleni on Bass, Eddie on Drums, and Randy on guitar fro helping me out with the recording! Thanks Guys!... And Gal!!! You are all awesome!!
