Im one of those people who walk around quoting movie lines that only I think are funny and that are so obscure that people always look at me oddly.
I will admit that Iam fascinated by television. Its like watching a car wreck. You sit in front of it feeling insulted by the commercials and the total lack of intelligence that eminates from the glowing box but you cant quite get yourself up off the couch.... I will admit that Iam one of those people who will sit through the whole episode of Sienfeld just to get to the Simpsons reruns. We currently have 3 channels on our tv. One of them has "green ghostly shadows" that make everyone appear severely disfigured and may be a problem for anyone with severe psychological problems to watch. Im waiting to see one of my roomates or even myself snap and put a baseball bat through the screen. Sex & the City, Simpsons, That 70's Show (the old stuff...the new stuff SUCKS!), Family Guy. (Notice all of these shows with the exception of Sex & the City...R.I.P. are all on the same channel...the one that the picture comes in fairly well) Im done. :)
Prozac Nation, The Bell Jar, Dharma Bums, IT, Vampire Testament, Bitch, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Running with Scissors, Harry Potter, Poe, Shakespeare, Koontz...again I cant help myself, To Kill a Mockingbird, Gone with the Wind, Girlie books like...Devil Wears Prada & I Love Everyone: Tales of a Loudmouth Girl, Les Mis...however I will openly admit that though I have enjoyed this one Im still not all the way through, How To Be Good (loned to me by an ex-boyfriend...though it didnt work), Cherry, The Client, Hannibal, Silence of the Lambs,The Secret Lives of Bees, Dan Brown, Anything & everything by the brilliant & unfathomable Chuck Paluniak. (sp?), the beat poets & writers, Ben Arent, I greatly dislike MOST books recommended by the now defunct Oprahs book club, and I cant remember anything else that is on my book shelf as of this moment. POOP. PS: I will read anything that even remotely catches my interest. Its like an addiction.
None. Myself? I'm my own best friend.
