Life is Precious....Live it Empassioned!

About Me

Karen:  I have learned so much about life, love and living even through the toughest life lessons.  I have been reminded again and again, just how incredibly precious life is.  I have been blessed with some incredible friends (some of whom I am privileged to call family as well) who have facilitated my continuous growth and development into the masterpiece I was designed for.  I have repeatedly really been touched and humbled by the tremendous loss of people on this earth whom I loved with every breath of my being, however, at the same time cognizant that we are all on a journey and alongst that path, every one of us begins at our birth and all of us will pass from this finite dimension; hopefully, people are becoming aware of their finiteness and will be convicted by the reason behind it all and the option that exists in which they can live eternal life and be living in a place without disease, wars, pestilence, hunger, pain, droughts or evil....  I could go on and on about all the things I love - the majesty in God's creation, the way life touches me on so many intense and incredible levels, the intricate and fabulous intelligent design of the human body, the breathtaking experience of standing atop a crag on the jagged edge of a mountain range and seeing such a majestic beholding of intense beauty and raw nature all around me, the ecstasy found in our senses of touch, feel, taste, smell, sight and hearing the many wonderful possibilities. I believe that all the things I have come to experience in my journey thus far have enriched the journey and made it just as tremendously significant as the arrival at the destination; I believe that every single thing I have endured and survived has made me a better person, a better woman, a better friend, a better mother, a better daughter, a better lover, a better sister, a better nurse, a better caregiver, a better Christian and hopefully a better human being.  I believe that the experiences emparted a level of empathy that enables me to give that much deeper, laugh that much harder, love that much more intensely, and live that much richer!  I believe it is part of what refines us into the masterpiece for what we are by design intended to become.  I love children, animals, mountains, oceans, beaches, forests, people, great food,  intense coffee, firesides, wonderful music, fresh air and especially witnessing people being simply loving and good to one another. Very important that I share that I do love hugging and being hugged, loving and being truly loved.....and the list goes on but enough for now...!Saxon:  I am an outgoing kid and I love swords and anything that looks like a blade in my view.  I pickup stuff and make it like a sword.....even if it annoys my mom!  (You ought to see her face when she is missing part of the curtain rod...especially the expensive ones!)  I am really good at lots of manuevers with them...it seems to come naturally....but she watches me like a hawk....just waiting to put her nursing skills to work....Yikes!!!Uh oh!!!Here she comes again!!!..

I have learned....and it continues....

I've learned.... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes with more focus on what needs to be accomplished versus the way others might perceive it. &...
