I'm still adjusting to life in Orlando and am looking for new, wonderful fun-loving friends. I'd like to get to know the area better and find out all Orlando has to offer!Of course I'm always interested in meeting genuine guys with great attitudes, a sense of humor and never hurts to be cute too ;-).
I'm very eclectic about my music, there really isn't any one style I conform to. I particularliy love a lot of indie and other music outside the mainstream. Some of my favorites are (but not limited to): Beck, Collective Soul, Counting Crows, The Dandy Warhols, Damian Rice Dave Matthews Band, Elliott Smith, Fatboy Slim, Gorillaz, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, The Helio Sequence, Joe Purdy, Johnny Cash, Justin Timberlake, Kasabian, Missy Higgins, O.A.R., Radiohead, The Shins, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, U2, and VAST.
Big time movie buff here. Everything from the silent era to blockbusters of today. I love anything that is true art, as well as films just meant to entertain (but that doesn't mean they have to be lame rehashes of much better movies). Just a few of my favorite movies include The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Being John Malkovich, City of God, John Cassavette's Faces, Kill Bill, and the original George Romero Living Dead trilogy.
Don't really watch much TV currently. Not that I'm a TV snob, there's a lot of great, quality programming, I just don't have much time to watch it. I hope to catch up on some of the shows I hear are great when they come out on DVD. Shows I try to watch include Lost and Battlestar Gallactica.
I used to be a big time reader. But now I have a hard time finding time to read. Oh, I always have a book going, they just usually take about 4-6 months on average to finish (I'm not exaggerating). I do love Tolkien though, and the Wheel of Time series, and been meaning to begin Stephen King's Dark Tower series. I would love to begin reading some of Chuck Palahniuk's work.
I have two kinds of heroes:One are directors who are very nice, fun people to be with. It's such a stressful job, and if you can handle it and still be a calm person, that's an amazing fortitude! Directors like this, such as Peter Jackson, amaze me.The other group are those who just go through every day normal life and are able to find complete happiness in it. They've discovered who they are and are comfortable with that. That takes a lot of strength, and I lend my total admiration to those who have it.
